We're moving.....Hola, Barcelona!

We’re excited to announce that Vitafoods Europe will move to its new home, Barcelona, in 2025.

After 26 successful years in Geneva, this decision was not easy, and comes after careful consideration of visitor and exhibitor feedback, and exciting growth plans for the world’s nutraceutical event. 

Why Barcelona?

Vitafoods Europe is defined by more than just its location – it is the event that brings the nutraceutical community together. With the global nutraceuticals market expected to grow at a significant CAGR of 9.3% by 2030, the relocation allows room for the event to grow in line with market potential, enabling more visitors and exhibitors to connect and build new partnerships. 

Spain is one of the top 5 countries which make up 66% of Europe’s nutraceutical market, making Barcelona a strong choice for facilitating the event’s growth. The city’s accessibility is an important factor as well – the city has approximately 40,000 hotel rooms available, and an average of around 3000 flights depart weekly from its airport to nearly 200 countries. 

Barcelona has the right mix of vibrant architecture, culture and atmosphere to match the vivacious spirit of our community. And thanks to the robust infrastructure offered by both the city and the venue, Fira Barcelona, this is just the next step in a long and exciting future for Vitafoods Europe.
