Event Updates

July 8, 2021

At Informa, we’ve been delighted to see such a positive response from so many of you as the in-person element of one of our leading events, Vitafoods Europe, returns once more in a new hybrid format. We wanted to reassure those planning to visit the in-person event being held from 5-7 October 2021 at the Palexpo, Geneva that health and safety will of course be our number one priority.

Vitafoods Europe 2021 will adhere to strict COVID-19 public safety regulations, working with the Swiss authorities to follow all local legislation and guidelines in place at the time of the event. In addition, Vitafoods Europe will be run in accordance with Informa AllSecure health and safety standards. This means all visitors, exhibitors and staff will be required to adhere to critical safety measures that will be in place at the Geneva Palexpo venue. These will include:

  • Checks on vaccine proofs and negative tests prior to entrance
  • Enhanced cleaning and personal hygiene, via sanitising stations, throughout the venue
  • Non-contact registration, food and beverage stations and social distancing
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in line with local government and health authority advice.
This may include wearing a face covering and the use of gloves or face screens in certain roles.

Please note that these guidelines may change in the lead up to the event in October. The Informa team will share any updates that may have an impact on Vitafoods Europe 2021 as soon as they become available on this page.

It is the responsibility of all visitors and exhibitors to keep up-to-date with the latest COVID-19 legislation before attending Vitafoods Europe, including the entry requirements from their own country into Switzerland. The current travel guidance from the Swiss authorities can be accessed via the Federal Office for Public Health FOPH.

Thank you for your ongoing support and understanding, and we hope to see you soon,

The Vitafoods Team.
