The global nutraceutical event

Top tips for exhibitors

Thank you for choosing to exhibit at Vitafoods Europe 2017 - we are looking forward to welcoming you to Palexpo in May.

We have put together some useful tips to help you make the most of your investment at the event.

Before you arrive

  • Plan ahead and set goals: know what you want to achieve from the event.
  • Complete your profile on the Vitafoods Europe 2017 website. In 2016, there were 79,480 visits to the online exhibitor list.
  • Arrange appointments with your clients and prospects early.
  • Invite journalists to visit your stand and prepare press packs for the press office.
  • Create an attraction or feature on your stand to entice visitors to stop, such as a mini production stand, coffee bar, game or competition.
  • Brief and train staff who will be working on your stand. Ensure you have a process in place for taking enquiries.

Promote your presence

  • Send free visitor invites to your existing and prospective customers inviting them to come and see you at the event. Give them to your sales staff to hand out at meetings.
  • Request customisable HTML email templates to send out to your database.
  • Update your website with details of what you will be doing at the event. Add one of the website banners to your web page.
  • Include your stand number, the event logo or a banner on promotional materials used in your planned advertising, direct mail or email campaigns.
  • Launching a new product? Running a competition at the event? Tell our PR team about it so we can use these stories to promote the event. We work with over 60 international media partners so there is plenty of free media coverage to take advantage of.

At the event

  • Have a mini briefing of your stand staff at the start and end of each day; ensure everyone has objectives and that any important feedback is captured.
  • Ensure you put a good supply of brochures, leaflets and products on your stand to entice visitors.
  • Send your press releases to Storm Communications so that they are included on the press USB sticks.
  • Avoid eating and drinking, reading or using your phone on your stand.
  • Be approachable, friendly and smile!
