Exhibition Terms & Conditions
IIR Group arranges insurance in respect of its own liabilities to the Exhibitors who must read the summary of terms of IIR Group’s cover below and decide if it is adequate.
In return for the administration fee paid by the Exhibitor under the Sponsorship and Exhibition Terms and Conditions, IIR Group will maintain its insurance and seek to make a claim against its insurers in the event of a loss.
An Exhibitor should give notice of any loss as soon as possible. If the insurers agree the claim IIR Group will arrange to have that part of the claim that relates to the Exhibitor’s loss reimbursed to the Exhibitor directly from the insurer. IIR Group is under no obligation to the Exhibitor to commence any legal proceedings or threaten to start any proceedings in respect of such a claim.
Summary of terms - Exhibitor package
Section 1
EXHIBITION PROPERTY
Loss of or damage to Exhibition Property at the venue including build-up and breakdown period . Exhibition Property includes exhibits, stands, display materials and all other property bought onto the stand for the purposes of the Insured Event. The Insurers shall not be liable for the first £250 of each and every claim.
COVER: £20,000
An Inner Limit of £5,000 in respect of portable electronic equipment,computer equipment,audio equipment,audio visual equipment,jewellery,watches,precious stones or articles composed of such materials wines spirits perfumes tobacco products clothing furs. The Insurer shall not be liable for the first £375 of each and every claim. Acts of War, Terrorism, Radioactive & Pollution Contamination and Biological/Chemical are excluded.
Section 2
EXHIBITION EXPENSES
Loss of expenses directly incurred in connection with the Insured event as a result of cancellation, abandonment, postponement, curtailment, failure to vacate, late or non arrival of exhibits arising from a cause beyond your control. Exhibition Expenses includes charges for stand or space and service, hire of stand, transport, costs of installing stands and fixings and exhibits, deposits paid for accommodation, advertising, printing and the like. The policy does not cover loss of market, loss of profits, delay or any consequential loss, inability of the Insured exhibitor to attend the event, acts of War, Terrorism, Communicable Diseases, Biological/Chemical Materials, Radioactive Contamination and National Mourning .

Section 3
EXHIBITION LIABILITY
Legal liability for damages and claimant’s costs and expenses arising out of death, bodily injury, disease, illness or nervous shock sustained by any person (other then yourself or your employees) or loss of or damage to material property arising in connection with the Insured Event. The Limit of Indemnity specified applies to each and every occurrence. Acts of War,Terrorism, Nuclear Risk and Asbestos are excluded. A £250 third party property damage excess applies.

PLEASE NOTE THAT CLAIMS MUST BE REPORTED WITHIN SEVEN DAYS OF THE COMPLETION OF THE EVENT AND ANY THEFT CLAIM MUST BE REPORTED TO THE LOCAL POLICE AND A CRIME REFERENCE OBTAINED.
