Poster Specifications and Mounting Guidelines

• Posters should be mounted at eye level.
• Place the poster title at the top of your poster in 1" high letters.
• A copy of the abstract, typed in large letters, should be posted on the upper left-hand corner under the title.
• Complete conflict of interest disclosure information for all authors and co-authors must be posted on the lower left-hand side of the display panel.
• Remember that illustrations may be read by interested scientists from distances of 3 feet or more. Keep them simple. Charts, drawings, and illustrations should be boldly drawn.
• Please allow for a 2 cm border on all four sides for a distinctive appearance and to avoid merging with other posters.
• Please ensure that all the text matter is not less than 24 font size.
• Keep posters as lightweight as possible. Do not mount materials on heavy board because it will be difficult to affix the materials to the display panel.
• Prepare and bring to the meeting all handouts needed for the poster presentation (figures, tables, etc.).
• The poster number on the display panel must remain visible at all times.
• Posters should be mounted by 4:00pm on Monday 21st May 2012. Posters must be removed on Thursday 24th May between 4:00pm-5:00pm. All posters remaining after 5:00pm will be disposed of.
• Vitafoods Europe recommends posters are hand carried to the event. If you must ship your poster, please note that any costs associated with shipping will be the author's responsibility.
